Facile (“we”, “our”) operates a platform that lets merchants create online stores and sell to their customers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. It applies to facile-dz.com, store subdomains, and our integrations with third-party services such as Instagram and Meta.

Data we collect

Depending on how you use the platform, we may process:

  • Account data — your name, email address, password (hashed), and profile details you provide when registering.
  • Store data — store name, subdomain, branding, contacts, and settings you configure.
  • Catalog data — product information, prices, images, and inventory you upload.
  • Messaging data — if you connect an Instagram account, messages customers send to that account are processed to generate automatic replies, and stored so you can review conversations.

How we use data

We use collected data to operate and secure the platform, provide store hosting and checkout, power the AI chatbot for customer messaging, send service notifications, and improve our services. We do not sell personal data.

Instagram and Meta integrations

When a merchant connects an Instagram professional account, we receive an access token and the permissions the merchant grants (such as basic profile, messaging, and content publishing). We use these permissions only to provide features the merchant enables: answering customer messages, sharing products, and showing ads insights. Merchants can disconnect the integration at any time from their dashboard, which stops further processing.

Data retention

We keep personal data while your account is active or as needed to provide the services. Messaging history is retained until the merchant deletes it or disconnects the account. Access tokens are deleted when an integration is disconnected.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Customers of stores hosted on Facile should contact the merchant directly; merchants can manage or delete customer data from their dashboard.
